Westminster Child Development Center
Child care and education, Monday through Friday, 7am-6pm, operating 12 months- 20 hour per week minimum
Infant/Toddler
We accept children into our infant program at 3 months old.
Our infant/ toddler program is your child's
first step in a lifetime of learning. Our caring and highly trained early childhood
professionals provide a stimulating environment for your child to explore and thrive.
Pre School
Our preschool program, for children
ages 3 and 4 years old and are toilet trained, uses a hands on, play based approach to learning.
Children are encouraged to explore, problem solve, and engage in a variety of fun and creative learning experiences.
Our preschool & pre K programs utilize Handwriting Without Tears and The Creative Curriculum and align all learning with the PA
state standards.
Pre Kindergarten
Our Pre K is designed to prepare 4 and 5 year old children for more formal learning. By aligning our curriculum to the PA Pre K State Standards we can ensure our children move on to Kindergarten and beyond with a strong educational, social and spiritual foundation.
The program offers children the opportunity to engage in community outings and field trips during the year. Guests such as the Pittsburgh Opera & Alcoson visit to provide an array of STEAM and creative expression activities.
